Message From Hiba
I am passionate about walking with individuals as they go through various phases of life. It is important to me to approach the therapeutic space with a sense of empathy, curiosity, and determination.
With several psychodynamic, emotion-focused and behavioral techniques, I strive to cultivate a space where individuals can freely explore and be challenged to achieve the best life possible.
I believe in an eclectic approach to therapy and work diligently to understand each client's individual needs.
Growing up in a traditional first-generation South Asian family has allowed me to understand the unique needs of multicultural communities, particularly about the inaccessibility of mental health services.
I am passionate about spreading mental health awareness. My goal is to provide mental health education and reduce the stigma about this condition in various communities.
Vulnerability is a superpower and therapy is a process of learning to be vulnerable in a whole new way. This means we come more into contact with our individuality and experiences.
However, being sensitive about our experiences of depression, stress, trauma and anxiety can leave us feeling exposed.
I hold safety for my clients as a top priority in therapy. Moreover, I will constantly accommodate and orient myself to help you feel as safe as possible in processing your experiences.
